The Ideas
the word thought can be understood by different meanings, ampler or more restricted. Dewey is one of the philosophers who much had contributed in the reflection of what we can understand on the act to think. Dewey (1953) considers that they exist at least four distinct conceptions on the word thought. It sees each one: In an ample direction, the first one meant attributed to the word to think if relates to everything what it comes to the head. This meaning does not lead in account if it exists or not, a form logical or true to think.
Any thing that comes to the mind is considered a form to think. The act to think, in this direction, does not depend on a sequence of ideas, occurs to perhaps. In as an agreement, the meaning of the act to think is on to the idea of that if something it cannot directly be observed, can be imagined, thought. To think is, in this direction, the capacity to organize the available information to imagine a possible continuity that has led to a new conclusion. One third meaning indicates that the act to think is on to the ideas that take in them to a certainty. The act to think is characterized by the capacity to organize certainties, or by formulating assumptions acceptable. In ampler direction, the act to think is understood as the capacity to reflect on bedding of the certainties, is the examination of the base that of the sustenance to the reasons.
One adds the meaning to think the capacity to it to doubt the stipulated conceptions. It is the act to think on already thought. In this agreement, to think means to reflect, what it consists of a logical sequence, and not causal, of ideas. Each reflection produces a sequence of reflections subseqncias. These different meanings of the act to think, interpreted from Dewey, make to perceive that it has some vacant concepts.
